Hello. I am a cadet in the British Merchant Navy and will soon be with a company that operates several large tankers.

A few guys in my class for foreign companies operating in the supply of oil and maintenance platform specialized, but work on the high seas, as I do.

I wonder if the crew are suppliers for a number of oil wells as the crew of an oil platform or not part of the ship for the rest of the gang? No bunk beds for the crew of a boat on the platform and onto the floor when they need supplies or land berths and navigate to the platform when necessary?
